Senecio citriformis, native to South Africa, is a unique evergreen succulent with teardrop shaped leaves that point vertically. These leaves are grey-green in color and have transparent veins.
It produces small clustering yellow flowers in late summer to winter.
Senecio citriformis grows trailing stems with partially upright shoots branching mainly below soil-level from a fleshy rootstock that may protrude from the soil. It can form large clusters over time. Drought tolerant. Protect from frost.
Plants may be shipped bare root.

Water every 2 weeks or so. Water deeply when soil is dry to the touch and then let it drain completely. Reduce watering during winter.
