Ferocactus Latispinus is native to Mexico. Unlike other species of Ferocactus which are more spherical, Ferocactus Latispinus has a flatten globular shape. The spines are red, wide, curved and flatten, which give this cactus its nickname “Devil’s Tongue Barrel”, or “Fish Hook”.
In winter, it produces violet or yellow funnel-shaped flowers.
It can be grown as a houseplant where the climate is temperate.
All of the plants may be shipped bare root.
